Description
TEMPTATION AND SIN—In creating this sculpture, I sought to explore the delicate balance between temptation and conscience. The pull, represented by the golden apple, rests on a sinuous, elongated form that meditatively encapsulates the eternal dance of decision and consequence. Crafted from bronze and marble, the work embodies an internal dialogue: the warmth and solidity of bronze contrast with the cool reserve and purity of marble, symbolizing the tension between impulse and reason, flesh and spirit.
Its presence in the room exudes a quiet, thought-provoking energy, inviting the viewer into an intimate conversation with themselves, where desire is explored rather than judged. The sculpture lingers in the moment before action, in the fragile pause where choice is born, prompting reflection on personal moments of decision-making and their gravity, reminding us that it is in this silence that our true nature is revealed.
